Kaung Ko
Founder, PT, DPT
Kaung is the founder of Roots Physical Therapy and is passionate about helping patients return to the activities they love. He earned his undergraduate degree from Central Washington University in 2012 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from American International College in 2017.
Kaung believes every patient’s journey is unique and values the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in each person’s quality of life. At Roots, he takes an exercise-focused approach, blending manual therapy with innovative tissue loading techniques to support long-lasting recovery. His goal is to help patients build strength, resilience, and confidence so they can get back to doing what they love.
Kristen Bridgewater
Certified Athletic Trainer
Kristen is a Certified Athletic Trainer who is passionate about helping patients navigate the recovery process and return to the activities they love. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon in 2019 and later completed her Master of Science in Athletic Administration at Central Washington University in 2022.
Kristen enjoys working closely with patients throughout each stage of recovery, using manual therapy and sport-specific exercises to rebuild strength, restore confidence, and support a safe return to activity. Her goal is to create a collaborative recovery experience that helps patients feel prepared, resilient, and ready to get back to doing what they love.
Nevada Caillier
Patient Care and Clinic Manager
Nevada is often the first face you see when you walk through the doors at Roots Physical Therapy. An Ellensburg local and mom of two girls, she helps keep the clinic running smoothly by assisting with scheduling, answering questions, and supporting both patients and the team behind the scenes. Nevada enjoys connecting with patients and making sure they feel welcomed, informed, and confident from their very first interaction at Roots.
